The ceremony, held on October 23, 2023, marked the initiation of collaborative efforts to drive energy projects across the breathtaking landscapes of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The signing ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of Norwegian Ambassador Per Albert Ilsas, who graced the event as the Chief Guest. Accompanying him were the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan and his cabinet members, highlighting the commitment of the local government to this transformative initiative.
The MoA was officially signed during the ceremony, forging a strategic alliance between Norhydro Pvt Limited and the Water and Power Department of Gilgit-Baltistan. This partnership signifies a shared vision to harness the region’s untapped potential for hydroelectric and renewable energy projects.
